The Watchdog Vision for 2011

Greetings!

Watchdog Software (WDS) has some exciting news to share with all of you! As you can see we’ve recently launched an updated version of our website and are in the process of making a few helpful changes to the software program. We realize the current economic environment is very unstable, which makes your job to keep up with UI claims and processing that much more difficult. These new changes will put useful UI tools and information at your fingertips. Watchdog continues to listen and learn from YOUR feedback and comments, and those comments have helped us with these latest updates. We’re really excited with the changes we’ve made thus far and will continue to make over the next few months and into the upcoming year.

Website Changes…

On Monday, June 21, we launched the ‘new’ Watchdog Software website. The new design is intended to be a ‘one stop shopping and information experience. New customers, as well as our existing customers, will be able to take a video tour to shop and purchase a new software license, the Annual Maintenance Plan (AMP) and stay informed with the latest Department of Labor UI information.

New Look – Site design will allow for a better user experience.
New Pages – Support, FAQ’s and Pricing Pages were added to help navigate the site more efficiently
External UI Links/Resources – More information sharing at your fingertips regarding UI rates, latest unemployment information, etc.
Software Purchases – Pay for your software upgrade/Annual Maintenance Plan directly from the Pricing Page.
Blog – Get involved with us and other colleagues in your field. Feel free to send us your feedback directly through our new blog. Discuss amongst colleagues the latest UI news or a new feature you feel could enhance the software.

There’s more coming to the Website and Program this month.

The website will continue to be a living and breathing document, continually updating and reflecting your needs. Here are a few things that we have scheduled for launch in July:

Demo Tour - Watchdog users and new customers will be able to view a features video on the homepage.
New Software Look – The look and feel of the software will be similar to the new website (i.e., icons) for a more user-friendly experience. This will not affect the data collected and generated on Watchdog reports.

Vision 2011

2011 shoud start off with a bang, as a new upgrade version (v9) of Watchdog will be introduced with enhanced features. In addition to the existing desktop solution there will be a brand new web based solution offered.

Desktop redesign – We are adding even more functionality to the current desktop solution. Some of the things in development are:

Ability to incorporate state specific forms into your correspondence.
Ability to view the claim status/phase.
Redesigned reports and exporting capabilities.

Web Based Solution – The online solution will let all users benefit from the same features as the desktop solution, as well as some enhanced capabilities such as:

Ability to incorporate state specific forms into your correspondence.
Advanced customized reporting and data exporting capabilities.
External hosting service where Watchdog Software is responsible for maintaining system functionality and data management/security.
Ability to integrate your existing systems and Watchdog Software through a web service.

We are looking for Beta Testers!

Interested in seeing the software designs before they’re released to the public and your fellow Watchdog users? Volunteer to participate as a ‘beta tester’! We’d like to offer you the opportunity to help test either or both software solutions. We anticipate this effort to begin in October. We’ll send out a test schedule in the next couple of months with more details (dates, timeline, etc.).

Welcome to the unveiling of our new website! In the coming months we will be expanding to make our site a ‘one stop’ shopping experience. Soon you will be able to take a video tour of the software, purchase new software or an upgrade, login and manage your own account information — all with the click of a button.
