How many current clients does Watchdog Software Inc. serve?

At this time our client base is 400+ strong and most have been using our software for the past nine years. Our clients process claims anywhere from 500 to 2500 weekly.

What type of businesses use Watchdog Software?

Our clients include professional employer organizations, third party administrators, as well as small business owners – all are equally concerned about managing their unemployment insurance costs.

Are there any recurring charges?

After the initial license is purchased there is an Annual Maintenance Program cost.


Technical

What type of operating system do I need to have in order to run Watchdog Software?

The software is developed on a Microsoft office platform. We are compatible with MS Office 2003 (Access).

What type of technical assistance is provided?

Unlimited technical assistance is provided to current subscribers to the annual maintenance program.

We currently maintain our own UI claim database in-house (Excel/Access, etc.). If we purchase Watchdog Software, are we able to transfer all of our existing claim data into it?

Yes, your existing claim data can be transferred into the Watchdog software so duplication efforts are minimal. Our IT specialists can assist with this effort.

In the event our company structure is different than other companies, is the software customizable?

Yes, the software can be customized to meet individual business needs. There may be additional costs involved.


Forms & Data

Do all states accept Watchdog Forms?

Yes, all 50 US states accept Watchdog forms.

Is Watchdog fully electronic – meaning, are all forms received and sent to each state paperless?

Currently Watchdog has the ability to only send forms and communication to the state electronically. Going paperless is decided upon by each state.

Can multiple claims be entered at one time (i.e., via scan or standard file)?

This functionality will be available in the 2011 version of the software.

Can we scan and attach documents to a claimant’s file?

This functionality will be available in the 2011 version of the software.

Are we able to export our data into an Excel format?

This functionality will be available in the 2011 version of the software.
